THE TEAMS
The MENS TEAM competes in Division 2 of the Southern California Rugby Football Union (SCRFU), and have enjoyed varying levels of success for 30+ years.
Our WOMENS TEAM formed in 2005, and entered the SCRFU Collegiate Women Division 2 for the first time in 2007.
The YOUTH PROGRAM comprises Under-14, Under-16 and Under-18 teams. Formed in 2005, each of these teams has enjoyed remarkable success under the tutelage of maestro Gary Nichols. Our youth teams are members of Southern California Youth Rugby, a sub-set of SCRFU dedicated to promoting the game to kids and young adults.
Each teams league schedule varies slightly, but all play through the winter months.
SLO Rugby has a long history and maintain a strong relationship with Cal Poly Rugby Club who compete in the South California Collegiate Division 1. |

Our home field is Damon-Garcia Sports Fields, where the bulk of our home games will be played. This is also the venue of our annual sevens tournament in September.
Our backup field is RiverBottom Field in beautiful rural San Luis Obispo County. This was SLO's home up to the end of the 2005 season, and occasionally we will return there to play. This use of this great field is provided by Tally Farms and the CCAC.
Visiting teams and supporters, please view our map for directions to the field. Do you need a map? >>
